Hello! I’m Aimee, a modern calligrapher from Ayrshire, Scotland.

My journey into the world of calligraphy began during my time as a bridal headpiece designer. While working in the wedding industry, I discovered the art of calligraphy and fell in love with the whimsical, playful strokes that seemed to bring words to life. I found myself wishing I could create something just as beautiful.

Determined to learn, I spent years practising and becoming confident in my craft. Over time, I developed my own relaxed and romantic style, which is what I love most about modern calligraphy—it gives you the freedom to create a unique script that doesn’t necessarily follow the rules of more traditional scripts. I also have a passion for incorporating celestial and floral designs into my work, adding a touch of magic to everything I create.

I’ve had the privilege of creating stationery and signage for weddings and events across the UK and beyond, and I love creating personalised keepsakes too.

Christmas is always a fun time for me. I get to design dreamy, custom baubles that make the holiday season even more special.
